Many of our customers ask for a quarter steer, but do not understand all the cuts or     may utilize them. We have streamlined this process and put together a "Quarter Steer" package, which includes the most popular cuts. They are listed with approximate weights below.

QUARTER STEER PACKAGE
The Quarter Steer Package yields approximately 100 lbs of meat. Your price is $700.      A deposit of $150 is required, which will be credited toward your total price. The turnaround time should be within 1 month of the deposit payment. You get:
HALF STEER
If you purchase a half steer, you will get two Quarter Steer Packages. Your price is      $1,400. A half steer will yield approximately 200 lbs of meat. A deposit of $300 is required, which will be credited toward your total price.

WHOLE STEER
For a whole steer, here's how it works. We sell you a live steer at $2.50 per lb live weight, plus the cost of processing. Processing usually runs $300-$350, depending on how big the steer is and how you have it cut. An 800 lb steer will yield approximately 400 lbs of meat. A deposit of $500 is required, which will be credited toward your total price.
Example: Your live steer weighs 800 lbs X $2.50 = $2,000. Your processing is $450. $2,000 + $450 = $2,450. The yield is 400 lbs of meat. Therefore, 400 lbs of meat costs you $6.13 per lb. You receive all the cuts of meat...steaks, roasts, ground, etc. for less than the price of ground meat. Every steer is different, but this example shows how much you can save when you purchase a whole steer.
